The reverse tuck end box (RTE), often referred to simply as an RTE carton, is a classic folding carton distinguished by a closure system where the top and bottom flaps are oriented on opposite ends of the side of the box, folding in opposite directions to lock the pack.

Getting the Most from the Carton Designer

  • For the best experience, use the designer on a desktop or laptop computer — the editor is not optimised for mobile phones or tablets.
  • Dimensions are defined as Length (front and back panels), Depth (side panels), and Height.
  • Double-click any element after placing it to access additional formatting and configuration options.
  • Colours can be defined using RGB, HEX, or CMYK values. For the closest match to your final printed product, we recommend using CMYK values.
  • Images and graphics can be uploaded directly into the designer. To preserve your background colour behind a logo or graphic, use a PNG file with a transparent background.
  • Text can be typed directly into the text box or pasted in. We recommend drafting your copy in a separate application first to ensure accuracy before adding it to your carton design.
